Weightless: Ariel Gold and Carol Pesce-Imlay

Secession Art & Design's Mother's Day art collection, Weightless, features the bright textured brushstrokes of Ariel Gold and vibrant sea life illustrated on repurposed uni boxes by Carol Pesce-Imlay. Many of the pieces in this show were painted at makeshift studios in the artists' homes while they sheltered in place. Having the common goal of this show made us focus on the power of art giving us a voice for emotion and resilience, saying the unspoken out loud through color, depth, and focus.
